Nitya Chambers is the Vice President of Content Development for CNN Digital.
Nitya oversees the strategy and growth of special initiatives, franchises, and partnerships across CNN Digital’s portfolio, and leads teams to execute editorial strategy in coordination with the network’s sales, product, tech-dev and newsgathering teams.
Before joining CNN, Nitya served as the Director of Content Strategy at Threespot, a digital strategy firm based in Washington, DC serving the social good sector. In this role, she led teams to create powerful digital experiences for clients like the National Park Service, PBS Newshour, and the Smithsonian.
Prior to that, Nitya worked for nearly a decade at ABC News in roles at Nightline and ABC News Digital, where she was the first digital hire to cover the 2008 presidential election. Nitya grew up in Pittsburgh and holds degrees from Boston University and Carnegie Mellon University.
She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
